Terms of Service for StrangerVoice

These Terms govern your use of the StrangerVoice mobile application, website, and related services operated by A AND J Tech ("StrangerVoice," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use StrangerVoice.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. A store's Mature 17+ content rating does not change our 18+ minimum age. We may suspend or delete an account if we reasonably believe its user is under 18.

StrangerVoice randomly matches adults for live, one-to-one voice and text conversations. Conversations are user-generated and are not monitored or moderated in real time. We do not verify users' identity, background, statements, or intentions. You may encounter offensive, misleading, explicit, or otherwise objectionable conduct despite our rules and safety tools.

• Choose a username that does not impersonate another person or violate their rights.
• Keep your password and device secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not sell, transfer, share, or create accounts to evade a restriction or ban.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must not use StrangerVoice to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, exploit, or discriminate against anyone
• Share sexual content, solicit sexual activity, or engage in grooming or exploitation
• Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, hate, fraud, or other illegal activity
• Expose another person’s private information or impersonate another person
• Record, stream, publish, or distribute a conversation without every participant’s consent and compliance with applicable law
• Spam, advertise, solicit money, run scams, or use automated accounts
• Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security or usage limits
• Use the service if you are under 18 or help a minor gain access

You can end calls, block users, and report conduct. We may review account, connection, and report metadata; warn users; restrict features; suspend or terminate accounts; preserve evidence; or contact law enforcement when reasonably necessary. A report does not guarantee a particular outcome. Because live conversations are not recorded by us, our ability to investigate content may be limited.

You retain rights in content you create. You give us a limited, worldwide license to transmit and technically process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service and comply with law. Do not share content you lack the right to transmit. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. StrangerVoice does not record voice calls, but another participant may violate these Terms or the law by recording or sharing a conversation.

• The free service may display advertisements delivered by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
• Paid features and subscriptions are processed through Google Play and are subject to its billing terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play before the renewal deadline shown there.
• Prices, taxes, trials, cancellation, and refund eligibility are shown and managed by Google Play.
• We may change paid features prospectively, but will honor rights required by law and the applicable store rules.

StrangerVoice, its software, design, branding, and service content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant only a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership.

We may maintain, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. Matches, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, and preservation of local data are not guaranteed. We may update these Terms; the date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website when appropriate. If you disagree, stop using the service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRANGERVOICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING. WE DO NOT CONTROL OR ENDORSE USER CONDUCT OR USER-GENERATED CONVERSATIONS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A AND J TECH AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR ANOTHER USER'S CONDUCT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify A AND J Tech from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, your content, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a Terms violation, safety risk, legal requirement, or material threat to the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.

These Terms are governed by New York law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction in New York may hear disputes, unless applicable law gives you another forum. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement about the service.
